Veltistos Informatic ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Urban GreenUp mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.

By using Urban GreenUp, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Tree Records. When you register a tree, we collect the location, species, planting date, and any optional notes or photos you choose to attach.
• Optional Photos. If you attach a photo to a tree, the image and its embedded metadata (such as capture time) are stored on our servers.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information. Device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings.
• Approximate Location. Used to center the map on your area. You can disable this in your device settings; the App will still function with a default city-level view.
• Precise Location (only when planting). When you tap "Plant" to register a tree, the App records the geographic coordinates of that tree. This is essential to the App's core functionality.
• Usage Data. Anonymous interaction data such as feature usage, crash reports, and performance metrics, collected via Firebase (see Section 4).

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the App.
• We do not collect contact lists, calendar data, health data, financial information, or browsing history.
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
